Referred 30 and older hangout spots in Atlanta

Today, I got a question from one of the members of the Black Folk Hot Spots network, wanting to find out where were the hangouts in Atlanta for the over 30 crowd. So I put the question out to the BFHS network and FB Fan page and I got a few responses within a couple of hours... here is what I got. 2. Ambiance Lounge

I used to frequent this club when it was 20 Grand. What a transformation! Love the ambiance. I go every third Saturday for the Steppers brunch with DJ Smooth. Also, the food is delicious.

3. Hairston's Dinner Club

The dim, jazzy feel of the bar/restaurant definitely added to the whole experience.

It's good that an decent place is available on this side of town that can cater to the slightly older Black crowd. I would probably need to go back on another night where there were more people but likely won't if the cover is $20

Sports bar with a grown and causal flair... Live Band Entertainment. the female vocalist, whom I got a chance to speak to MADE THE ENTIRE SHOW!!!. MOONCHYLDE....yeah That girl could sing!! Reminded me of a Brand New Teena Marie

With live music on Friday and Saturday you can go from a relaxing wine experience to dance party with music ranging from R&B to Salsa.


With all these places- it is always wise to phone ahead to check to see if something is happening special and what the cover is- if they have one.
