Have you submitted head shot after head shot, only to never hear back? Or did you get the meeting, but didn't get signed? Maybe you have never submitted to an agency because you fear you may not have all the necessary tools/information.

This is the workshop to attend! Jayme Pervis of J Pervis Talent will discuss those very issues. She will address how to submit, proper protocol, head shots, professional resumes, the interview and audition.

Each participant will have an opportunity to hand over their head shot/resume and perform a monologue before Jayme. She will provide feedback and critical review.

These twin boys will play Pete & Andy in our upcoming faith based feature film, 'Fishers Of Men'. We begin shooting our trailer and about 15 pages of our film down in Bainbridge Georgia in June. Play based on the children’s book, “Amazing Grace” by Mary Hoffman

We’re casting ten children (boys and girls) between the ages of 8 and 14 and three adult females for this delightful and touching play based on the popular children’s book, “Amazing Grace” by Mary Hoffman. The story revolves around Grace, a little girl with a big imagination who loves acting out stories, those told to her by her grandmother as well as ones she reads on her own. Her grandmother, Nana, believes that Grace can be whatever she wants to be, but Grace is told by two of her classmates that she can’t be Peter Pan in the school play because she is a girl and because she is black. The play will use a variety of storytelling techniques including movement, percussion and music as Grace and her friends explore stories and life with a bit of folk wisdom.

Another exciting collaboration between the Atlanta Children’s Theatre and the award-winning Horizon Theatre! This is a wonderful opportunity for selected young actors to work with professional adult actors at one of Atlanta’s premier professional theatres.

Character descriptions are as follows:

Grace (8-11 years old, African-American)

Nana (50-60 years old, grandmother of Grace, Trinidadian)

Ma (30-40 years old, mother of Grace, Trinidadian)

Rosalie (19-25, ballet dancer, Trinidadian)

5 Girls (ages 8-14 years old, seeking Asian, East European/Jewish, African, Euro American, Hispanic)

4 Boys (ages 8-14 years old, seeking Hispanic, Euro American, African American/Native American, Indian from the subcontinent of India)

Audition Requirements:

Two copies of an 8×10 headshot or other recent photograph
Two copies of a performance resume (if you have one)
Preferred, but optional: Prepare a 1-2 minute monologue of your choice
Wear comfortable clothing and footwear you can move in
Parents: Please bring your family calendar so you can note conflicts

Child auditions will be held the following days and times:

Saturday, April 17 (10 am – 2:30 pm)
Sunday, April 18 (1 – 4 pm)
Saturday, May 1 (10 am – 2:30 pm)

Call-backs will be held Monday, May 3 at 6:00 pm. Add’l call-backs for adult actors and child actors being considered for Grace may be held.

Modern version of the Cinderella fable and the source material for the film “Sabrina”. Comedy of manners set on Long Island in the 1950’s. Sabrina Fairchild, the African American daughter of the wealthy Larrabee family’s live-in chauffeur, has returned from Paris a sophisticated, cultured young woman. The Larrabees’ carefree, thrice-married son David (on whom Sabrina had a childhood crush for years) is taken with the transformed young woman, but the situation is complicated when David's older brother Linus, a cynical but good-natured tycoon who controls the family business, also falls for Sabrina, and she for him.

Seeking the following two available roles only (all other roles are cast):

Sabrina: African American woman, late 20s – mid 30s. Luminously attractive, bright and appealing young woman in love with life. A sheltered chauffeur’s daughter, Sabrina returns from an extended stay in Paris transformed into a sophisticated, cultured young woman bursting with excitement at life’s possibilities. Vivacious, charming, intelligent and voraciously inquisitive.

Linus: Caucasian man, mid 30s – early 40s. Attractive, rugged-looking (though not necessarily conventionally handsome) son of privilege. Slightly cynical, but good-natured, witty and charming, with the easy-going and relaxed sense-of-self of someone who has grown up wealthy. Aware of his station, but not without irony and flashes of devilishly wry self-deprecation. Terrifically business-minded and in control … and then he falls in love with Sabrina.

Speechless: Voice of Survivors is casting 3 African American roles for the upcoming performance at the end of June in Atlanta. We are searching for the roles of Ed, Dave, and Casino. The breakdowns of each one of these characters is at www.speechlesstheshow.com

Ed Jenkins-Principle Character: (Comedian/Singer) African American, 50’s. Ed has spent thirty years in the work force awaiting a solid package for retirement but received only disappointment. Ed could not live off the money given to him and then forced to give up everything that he’s ever worked hard for. Leaving it all behind.

Dave –Principle character-(Singer): African American, 20’s. Dave went to pursue a career serving his country overseas. Many incentives were promised to Dave upon completion of several years of service i.e.; college tuition, fixed income, and many other facets of his ideal American Dream. Unfortunately upon his return home from battle, Dave was left with broken promises. Somehow all he received was a free trip back home…or back to poverty. His hopes and dreams of a promised package to a better life came to an abrupt end. His motivations, hopes, and dreams ended as well; leading him to give up on the system.

Casino:-Supporting character: (Spoken word/ Comedian) any ethnicity, 20-30’s. Street hustler, fast talker. Comedic character. Everywhere he goes he tries to sale someone something. Casino Brings laughter to the show with his fast and witty remarks.

Rehearsals begin immediately on Saturdays, then moves to Saturday and Sunday in May. All actors must be able to sing, dance, and have acting experience. All roles are volunteer at the moment but The American Theater Wing (Broadway) will be at the premier performance in June and if the show is picked up the cast will stay the same.

Glee: THE NATIONWIDE OPEN CASTING CALL FOR “GLEE” BEGAN 3/30!

Series Returns with All-New Episodes Tuesday, April 13, on FOX!

Attention all GLEEks, the opportunity of a lifetime is coming your way! GLEE’s executive producers are holding a nationwide online casting search for fresh, young, talented performers to fill new roles that will be featured during the show’s second season. Beginning March 30, amateur and professional performers between the ages of 16 and 26 will have the opportunity to submit an audition video exclusively on MySpace at http://www.myspace.com/gleeauditions.

Hopefuls will be able to upload their videos beginning today through April 26.

Videos must feature an explanation about why the auditioner wants to be on GLEE as well as a demonstration of his/her stellar singing ability by performing one of 10 GLEE hits, including: “True Colors”, “You Can't Always Get What You Want” and “Lean on Me.”

Performances must be either a cappella or with single instrument accompaniment via MySpace Karaoke or by uploading their own pre-recorded videos.

Audition videos must be limited to five minutes in length – a one-minute introduction and a four-minute song – and are limited to one submission per person.

CLEONS Clothing Co. is looking for 8 Male & 8 Female Professional and Aspiring Models for the 4th CLEONS fashion show titled, 'House Of CLEONS: BALL Fashion Show' to hit this Summer, July 2010 in Chicago! Looking for Male & Female Models with Amazing looks, and strong versatility in your runway walk.

There will be 152 pieces made for the show from the designer of CLEONS, Chad Leon. You will be modeling Avant Garde, High Fashion and Trendy pieces made for the Collection.

THIS IS A PAID GIG for Models selected & booked to be in the Fashion Show. Along with numerous sets of photos from Photographers, maximum video footage and exposure! Additional details will be shared at the first orientation/rehearsal for the show in late April 2010.

This person must have great energy and open personality, and be able to script read as well as improvise characters according to content of show.

We are also seeking:
