BFHS Product Shout: SEOPressor—Do you have a great looking Website/Blog on built using Wordpress? but you are not ranked #1 for your keywords by the search engines- it's not by mistake- SEOPressor is the tool that they forgot you to tell you about!!!
Click to watch video NOW! |
Wordpress is decidedly one of the biggest blogging platforms in the world today. Even though it is not a free platform, the professional manner of this platform is what makes it more popular. And that is the reason why a lot of online business entrepreneurs are using Wordpress. As a consequence of that, several tools have been released in the market today by which people can enhance the prospects of their Wordpress blogs, and SEOPressor is one such tool. Being a new entrant into this genre, we felt it apt to check out SEOPressor and find out if it is really worth all the talk that is going on about it.
What we found out, after testing the product for both performance and efficiency, is that this is a product that’s well worth all the investment made in it. In any case, people are always looking out for the best possible search engine optimization for their business website, and the fact of the matter is that Wordpress SEO cannot get any better than what SEOPressor can provide. If used correctly, SEOPressor won’t just bring a Wordpress website to the top page of search engines but it will also bring it to the top of the top page. Results can be expected to figure within the top 3 on the first page.
Here we shall take a look at why SEOPressor can achieve that. It’s a fact that this is one SEO tool that works in a very different way from other similar products. Let us tackle these differences one after the other.
The Analysis
SEOPressor depends on a factor known as the SEO Score for calculating the worthiness of a particular website. What it will do is it will take some parameters into account and decide whether a particular website will rank well on search engines or not. This score is a very unique aspect of SEOPressor and the best thing about it is that its results correspond exactly with what a superlative tool such as Google Analytics will show you.
The Suggestions
SEOPressor almost dissects your Wordpress website and tells you things about it—innermost details that if you pay attention to could improve the prospects of your website to an amazing degree. It will tell you, for instance, if your keyword is placed in the right position or not, and what a better position would be. It will tell you about what kind of format you need to use for your titles—H1, H2 or H3—and it will tell you how the graphics on your website are influencing the prospects of your website. SEOPressor doesn’t just tell you about your mistakes, but it will also tell you the solutions and will offer to do them for you as well. This is one software application that allows you to sit back and relax as it continuously keeps monitoring your website and tells you exactly what you need to do in order to bring up the ranking of your website.
The Newness Factor
This is one thing to consider. The product is quite new, and even Wordpress is continuously changing, which makes it definitely a good thing to be new. For instance, SEOPressor is already compatible with the new Wordpress 3.0, something that most other Wordpress search engine optimization tools on the Internet are still trying to come to grips with.
The Convenience
This is what made this tool a big hit in its initial days. Even now, after several modifications, the plug-in remains just as easy as it was earlier. There’s nothing you need to install; it is just a simple download that you have to do. Despite the program itself being very complex, you don’t need to be a technical whiz to figure it out. The developers have tried to keep their program as much self-driving as possible.
Did you watch the video yet- click flashing image:) |
The Secret Algorithm
Since its release, people have wondered about how the results of SEOPressor can match so perfectly with the results of Google Analytics. Only recently was it announced that SEOPressor uses a secret algorithm that works in the very manner that the Google search engine works to rank its websites. Using this particular algorithm, it is almost a no-brainer for SEOPressor to understand what it actually takes for a website to shoot right up the rung on the Google search pile. This is the one thing that has made SEOPressor so famous.
The Developer’s Reputation
SEOPressor has been designed and developed by Daniel Tan, who is one of the greatest search engine optimization gurus in the world today. He has developed successful programs in the past such as the Backlinks Syndication System, the Rank Mover, the Ultimate RSS Joiner and the Press Release Cash Cow. All of these have been quite commended in the online world, which is the same thing that is happening with SEOPressor currently.

BFHS News: Cincinatti Impounding Cars With Big "Donk" Rims | News One, actually any car with 20 inch rims or LARGER!
Personally this sickens me that BLACKS and other races are being profiled by their cars and then they(Cincinatti Police Dept) put another black police officer and a FEMALE at that as a front person- Where is the ACLU?
Do you see the problem with this- just because someone gets creative with their cars(donks)- which is our human right- I will not say that all of these donk cars are safe and mechanically sound with some of the extra added features- but to say that any car that has 20 inch rims or larger can get impounded, because they are not the rims that were intended to be on that car- is just dumb and stupid to me- I guess they should go after the rim manufacturers or the businesses that actually do the altering of the vehicles(donk) as well. Where is Al Sharpton, Mike Baisdon and Jesse Jackson?
on a side note: Every one that does this to their cars(DONKS) are not drug dealers or gang bangers!!!
Cincinatti Impounding Cars With Big "Donk" Rims News One: "CINCINNATI-Police in Cincinnati, Ohio are impounding cars with rims 20 inches or bigger citing a safety law. These rims known as “donks” are popular in African American communities down south and this can be seen as another form of racial profiling and harassment of African Americans by police. Auto Guide reports:"
Read the complete story from where this came from {Here}
Here are a few comments from The above You Tube Video:
#1: If it passes state safety and emissions, where those things would come up as an issue and pass. The police need to stay the fuck out of their business. It may be "plain stupid" but it's not my business, your business, or the business of the police if everything is passed as "legal." Especially when they start talking about search and seizure. Under what pretense? Because someone has a larger profile wheel/tire radius. Get the fuck out.
#2: Just one question, Officer Tomasina, Why do you search the car in the first place if the wheels has nothing to do with search and seizure? I'm just saying.
#4 This some bullshit. There just trying to get rid of all the black people there. If its such a safety hazard and your only trying to protect the people, why charge so much money to get there car back that you illegally impounded. Show me on any driver license test that states these men cant have 20 inch rims on there cars.
#5: Lol , they had to put a black female officer to try to prove that they are not racist . Yes some rims are unsafe , like the swangers , but there is nothing wrong with the 22's . Its just a pretext to harrass the people who drive them and guess who's driving them ??? Those people really ought to get sued .
#6 And we as a country are worried about what's happening in Libya and other countries, when we have a war right here in America- what if the Libyan Leader decided to bomb cincinatti police department because people are against things they are doing- cause that is what we use as the reason to bomb these other countries!!!
#7: Its a hidden agenda, and in the interview the hidden agenda came out in “plain view”. “Yes we are going to search your car…your glove compartment”. Its all about illegal search, and they found away to get into your vehicle without you being around and comfortably search for what they really are out to get…INFO…DRUGS…GUNS…ANYTHING they can get to hang your black azz with…shyt even a ROPE. If you pay attention to government and law enforcement the real agenda always hide behind “SAFETY” and “PROTECTION”! a.k.a. “The Patriot ACT” Wake up people. You think “ticket cameras” on the stop lights only take your picture when you run a light or speed? Think again. I bet i can follow you all day and tell you where you been at an aproximate time without ever following you.
#8: You’re full of sh*t,they are targeting blacks because, if having those 20inche rims was so unsafe then. What about those whiteboys driving around with those monster type pickup trucks with those hugh wide tires and the truck setting 12 or 13ft in the air.Isn’t that unsafe to when you drive a vehicle that sets so high that you have to climb some stairs to get in and out of it.
#9: U at WAR and don’t even kno
you think this is about cars, it’s much more involved and they got a nigga bich co-signin
once you allowed yourself 2 allow them 2 let you DRIVE with a DRIVER’S LICENSE you let them control you
Traveling on a Public Road is of Common Law, your Universal Law
know that this corporation will attack you on every level, but you can use their laws against them

What is a Donk anyway? From the Urban Dictionary
Donk is a slang term referring to a type of highly customized automobile, typically an inexpensive American-built sedan from the 1970s,1980s or 1990s. Donks originally grew out of the Dirty South hip hop subculture but the trend has spread across the United States. Vehicles customized in the donk style are distinguished by their outsized (even disproportionate) rims, ranging from 20" to 30" or more in diameter, as well as fanciful custom paint-jobs and expensive audio hardware. Suspension modifications similar to those employed on lifted pickup trucks are made to give adequate clearance for the large rims. Often the suspension is modified so the front end sits slightly higher than the rear end, giving the car a swaggering appearance. Because of the almost comically exaggerated look gained from installing a lifted suspension and enormous rims, donks are also known as "hi-risers" or "sky-scrapers."
Popular vehicles for these types of modifications are full-size Chevrolet, Ford and Chrysler models. Two of the most popular models to modify are the Chevrolet Impala and Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Many enthusiasts agree that the term "donk" was orginally shortened from "donkey," because the Chevolet Impala logo resembled one. The donk label has been applied to other cars, but the only true donk is an Impala. There are several sub-types of donks, although the distinctions are blurred and open to debate. However, most hi-riser enthusiasts agree that a traditional donk is a 1970s-era...

BFHS News: White House Offers Support for Women-Owned Small Businesses
With the SBA, the Obama administration aims to push dollars towards women entrepreneurs
The SBA rolled out of Women’s Contracting Rule, a new tool designed to direct more contract dollars to women owned small businesses.
President Barack Obama is gearing up to address one of the fastest growing segments of business owners, Tuesday: women entrepreneurs
. The speech at the 2010 Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit in Washington, DC coincides with the kick-off of October’s Women’s Small Business Month.
The address also comes just one day after the Small Business Administration (SBA) announced the roll out of Women’s Contracting Rule, a new tool designed to direct more contract dollars to women owned small businesses.
“The final rule we accounted today focused on 83 industries in which we know there are too few contracting dollars and or too few contracts going to small women-owned firms,” said Karen Mills, Tuesday, in a blog post on WhiteHouse.gov. The White House expects the program to be fully operational in four months.
The SBA announced the new rule at the Women’s Entrepreneurship Conference hosted by the White House Council on Women and Girls with the event led by senior adviser to the president, Valerie Jarrett and Mills, and SBA administrator. The forum featured a panel on the state of women entrepreneurship as well as a series of breakout sessions addressing challenges women entrepreneurs face in today’s economy.
Women-owned businesses have grown exponentially throughout the decade with women owned accounting for 7.8 million nonfarm U.S. businesses in 2007, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. It’s an increase of 20.1% from 2002. These firms also account for 6.4% of total employment and 4% of total receipts.

BFHS News: 9 Tips to Becoming the Next Terry McMillan; Meet Faye Thompson
Author Faye Thompson
used her lunch hours at her day job to write her second novel.
Are you a novelist waiting to exhale? If so, it is time to make your passion a reality. Terry McMillan made it happen and so can you.
Meet Faye Thompson, a government employee for more than 25 years whose recent novel is being compared to Terry McMillan’s Disappearing Acts. Thompson’s second novel, Cheesecake and Teardrops (Urban Trade Paper, $12.95), was written during her lunch hour, vacation, weekend, after hours -- basically any time she wasn’t at her 9-to-5 job.
“I wanted to write and tell a story that I could not stop reading. If it’s your passion, find the time to do it,” says Thompson. “Get your hands on the Literary Marketplace, a [compendium] of agents, publishers, and editors. This resource will show you how to submit materials/manuscripts the right way. Also, take a creative writing course offered at a local college. This will empower you to tap into your power,” advises Thompson.
Sometimes the upfront cost for pursuing your passion can just be time and discipline. “I scored my book deal by networking and going to book signings and talking to the authors. Word of mouth is powerful -- and preparation is even better. New authors must make it their business to promote and understand that they are a brand in progress,” says Thompson.
Faye Thompson’s tips to becoming a best-selling author:
Do your research. Use the free resources available at your local library to research your topic and keep costs to a minimum.
Stay focused. Keep your eye on your ultimate goal.
Be patient. Don’t be discouraged if your rewards don’t happen immediately.
Listen to your inner voice and trust your instincts. When in doubt, go with your gut.
Don’t edit self. At least not when writing the first draft. Get everything on paper or your computer screen before you start refining your story.
Let it flow. Write, write, write. And then write some more.
Have fun with characters/story. If you’re bored by your story, odds are readers will be too.
Self-promote. Send out your press kit, talk yourself up, start a website, blog, create a social media strategy to publicize your brand.
Network. Go out and meet other authors, publishers, and editors.
I empower you to dust off the noggin and write a best seller as you self-publish or score a publishing deal, and channel your inner passion. How will you use any of Faye’s tips to live your best life?
Visit me at blogtalkradio.com/theprexpert, Thursday, July 15 @ Noon (EST) when Faye Thompson joins me for a discussion about branding and living your passion.

The Patchwork of Hope Network: Sewing Together Life After Shingles
The American Pain Foundation (APF), in partnership with professional baseball player LaTroy Hawkins, acknowledges those suffering from Postherpetic Neuralgia (PHN) today, as it recognizes the second annual PHN Awareness Day.
PHN Awareness Day was created to raise awareness to the pain caused by shingles and PHN, also known as after-shingles pain. Shingles is caused by the reactivation of the same virus that causes chickenpox and can affect an individual who has had chickenpox at anytime without warning.
More than 90 percent of adults in the United States have had chickenpox, placing them at risk for shingles.
One in every five of the 1 million Americans who have had shingles each year may go on to develop PHN, a potentially devastating condition that disproportionately affects those over the age of 50 or with weakened immune systems.

BFHS Network: Real Estate Insider: ‘Housewives of D.C.’ Star Shares Her Passion
Real estate news and advice for individuals and investors
The Real Housewives of D.C.'s Stacie Scott Turner loves everything about real estate, from renovating to sales to marketing.
Stacie Scott Turner has gained fame being featured on Bravo TV’s The Real Housewives of D.C. But she’s more than just a reality TV star and Washington socialite. The Alexandria, Virginia native and Harvard MBA has a successful real estate practice with Long & Foster, after working for luxury real estate company Sothesby’s International Realty.
BlackEnterprise.com talked with Turner on her newfound fame, how her practice has succeeded despite the economy, and her passion for a foundation that gives foster children opportunities of a lifetime.
You’ve gained prominence as one of the Real Housewives of D.C. How has this affected your life and career?
My [real estate] team has begun to receive calls from a lot of people who are moving to D.C. after watching the show. Viewers got a flavor for the city. They all of a sudden knew my name. Overall, it’s been pretty positive.
What’s [also] so cool about doing the show—and what was part of my motivation to participate—was it brought attention to my charity, Extra-Ordinary Life. It brought awareness to adoption and foster care issues … I take great pride and passion in being able to work with foster care youth. I try to provide experiences to those living in group homes and foster homes to inspire them to dream and overcome their circumstances.
You’re now working with Long & Foster after being an agent with Sotheby’s. What was the transition like from selling luxury homes to working with the new company?
I began my career in Long & Foster in 2001 and had a wonderful experience. I later decided to go to a small firm to learn the higher-end market and moved on to Sotheby’s. I learned what I needed, and now I’m back with Long & Foster.
It’s the middle range market that’s robust at this time. [At Long & Foster] it’s a large network of agents, and I wanted to form a great team.
How did you approach the challenge of selling homes in the current economic climate?
I continued advertising--even when the economy was tight-- to promote myself and my clients’ homes. That allows my business to keep thriving. With others cutting back, people saw more of what my business could offer. There were less people to compete against.
What excites you about real estate?
I went from a corporate career to real estate when the D.C. market exploded. I got my real estate license and purchased my own home and got involved the renovations -- just all aspects of it. I love selling, developing it, designing-- I love it all!
Turner’s Tips for Industry Success:
Focus on establishing your business so it looks like you are experienced. Have a great Website and invest money in advertising and showcasing your skills in a specific area.Team up with agents who have properties and or clients so you can get experience doing transactions.Invest in marketing a specific area to gain exposure, such as your immediate neighborhood. It’s always good to establish yourself as an expert in a certain residential area, where you know the home values and benefits of living in that area.

BFHS News: Using QR Codes to Promote Your Business
When it comes to the latest and greatest in marketingtools, maybe you've heard the term QR code
bandied about as the next big thing. The initials QR stand for Quick Response, and you should think of a QR code
asan easy-to-create, two-dimensional bar code that can be scanned by a smart phoneto instantly and effortlessly share targeted content online with minimalexertion by the end user.
Recently I've noticed a lot of business travelersusing QR codes as paperless airline boarding passes. Once downloaded to theirsmartphone, the traveler displays the QR code at the airport where a scanningdevice at the security checkpoint and later, at the gate, verifies theirinformation and lets them pass.
I think we're going to be hearing a lot more about these high-speed codes in the months and years to come, because the benefits they offer businesses and consumers are astounding. By pointing a smartphone at the QR code, your customers or clients have instant access to exactly the information you want to impart. All that's required is a smartphone equipped with an easily obtained QR code reader or app. When users can scan your QR code, your data is instantly converted into text, graphics, or your company's website address (a process called "dequrifying").
But the really cool thing about QR codes is that any business, start-up or entrepreneur can create them online themselves, and in many cases, can do this or free (see Kaywa and ZXing for more information).
To date, QR codes have been successfully embedded on websites and in magazine ads, direct mail, coupons, email marketing, billboards, in-store advertising and contest entry forms. If you're considering adding QR codes to your social media marketing toolbox, keep in mind that many of your customers and contacts might not be familiar with the concept. It will be up to you to bring them up to speed, telling them how the codes work and more important, where they can pick up scanner applications for their smartphones.
For those who want a QR scanning app for your smart phone, simply check with your provider's app store for a scanner. These are usually labeled "code scanner" or "barcode reader" and are available free or for a low cost. On the iPhone, for instance, you can get an app called Optiscan or QuickMark, while those using the Android phone, there's a QR code reader called Barcode Scanner. Blackberry users can upload an app called ScanLife for free.
You can always look at Flash of Brilliance- she has worked with some local businesses and putting together their QR Codes campaigns! View here or here!

Getting Started: Opening a Business with Your Best Friend
Kandi Burruss and Peaches Chin tell how they never let being in business together get in the way of their friendship
A conscious decision to succeed and never let business get in the way of their solid friendship is all it took for R&B songstress and Atlanta housewife Kandi Burruss and her friend Peaches Chin to open a boutique together--TAGS Boutique in Atlanta. Though Peaches, the day-to-day business half of TAGS, was able to make the being-friends-as-well-as-co-owners detail a non-issue, a will to succeed beyond business and her extensive experience in retail and celebrity styling didn’t prepare her for how fast the success of the boutique has taken off in its first year.
While out of the country, Peaches set aside time to talk to BlackEnterprise.com about the rapid success of TAGS and mixing business with friendship.
BlackEnterprise.com: As part owner of TAGS, what do you do?
Chin: While Kandi is the face of the business, handling all the marketing and promotion, I run the day-to-day operations, including the buying, sourcing new lines for the latest and trendiest styles, hiring staff and making sure our customers are always a priority.
You have prior experience in retail and styling. What exactly does your experience include, and how instrumental was it in preparing you for opening TAGS?
Before TAGS, I owned and operated my own retail store for ten years called Runway Fashion. I had two locations in Atlanta with celebrity clientele, and that’s how I met Kandi and several of the artists I ended up working with as a stylist. From there I started my own styling company called Fashionably Loud and worked with rappers T.I., Three 6 Mafia, and Young Jeezy, just to name a few.
Runway Fashion was very instrumental in preparing me for TAGS. When I opened Runway Fashion, I had no experience in being a boutique owner. But over the years, I learned the do’s and dont’s of running a retail business. After a successful ten years, I decided to close the stores and pursue fashion on a more intimate level and started styling on a regular basis. Runway Fashion was my training wheels for TAGS.
What was different about opening TAGS?
Kandi is such a great down-to-earth individual, and her fans really support her. I was overjoyed and overwhelmed with their response and support of TAGS; but I wasn’t ready for it. Customers came in looking for Kandi a lot--and that was good. I just didn’t know TAGS would catch on as fast as it did.
Initially, you had some worries about going into business with Kandi because of your friendship. How did you get past your concerns?
My main concern was being consumed with business and forgetting to be friends. However that has not happened. Before moving forward, we talked several times over dinner, and we decided that this was going to be a good partnership and that each would focus on their strength in growing the business. Sometimes when you partner with a friend, everything becomes about the business. You don’t talk anymore, and you lose that friendship. Kandi eased my mind, and I eased hers, and that’s how TAGS came to be.
We’ve heard of business partnerships between friends that didn’t turn out well, but what is the good that you’ve found to come of yours?
There are several pros, but the main one is you know the person and can talk candidly about everything. Then there’s the fact that we’re making money together while maintaining our friendship.
What’s a typical day like for you?
On a typical day, I’m in the store interacting with our customers and making sure our products and inventory are fully stocked and displayed correctly. I monitor our Facebook and Twitter sites as well. I am also working to expand our online business.
Your approach, “luxury for less,” is an ideal one, especially with people spending smarter. Is it safe to say the recession worked in your favor?
True, people have started spending smarter and we wanted to capitalize on this new wave of shoppers. “Luxury for Less” definitely appeals to all [types of] people--from the business professionals to the housewives, as everyone is always looking for affordable luxury. So the economy has had no negative effect on our business as it is steadily growing.
Retail can be a tough business! What’s working for TAGS?
Our focus is always on customer service. I feel this sets us apart from most boutiques. Our motto is the price brings you in but the service brings you back! Also our inventory is trendy and edgy with a touch of class. We also host several customer appreciation parties in-store, and Kandi gets a chance to meet and mingle with the customers.
What can we expect to see from you and Kandi in the future?
We are looking to expand with a second location in 2011. In addition to our TAGS t-shirts, we have added TAGS signature scented soy candles, TAGS body sugar scrubs and more body products coming soon. We also plan to expand our online business, offering more variety including plus-size.
Thinking of partnering with your BFF? Peaches suggests 5 tips!
The No. 1 rule is to know your role, and give it 100%.Always maintain good communication.Honesty and trust is essential not only for friendship, but business too!Be yourself and speak candidly with each other.Be flexible and open to change.Peaches, who just completed opening a boutique for Toya, of BET’s Tiny & Toya, in New Orleans, is currently working on launching a shoe store in March.

Also on this week's edition of The Urban Business Roundtable, our Executive Producer TaQuoya Kennedy speaks with accountant and certified financial planner Donald Reid about financial planning for entrepreneurs. Reid is author of the book The Theology of Finance: How To Attract Power, Money and Love.
Also this week on UBR, I addressed why entrepreneurs need to focus on hiring people who know more than they do about the positions for which they're being hired. For more, read my post, "To Be The Best, Hire The Best."
