Personally this sickens me that BLACKS and other races are being profiled by their cars and then they(Cincinatti Police Dept) put another black police officer and a FEMALE at that as a front person- Where is the ACLU?

Do you see the problem with this- just because someone gets creative with their cars(donks)- which is our human right- I will not say that all of these donk cars are safe and mechanically sound with some of the extra added features- but to say that any car that has 20 inch rims or larger can get impounded, because they are not the rims that were intended to be on that car- is just dumb and stupid to me- I guess they should go after the rim manufacturers or the businesses that actually do the altering of the vehicles(donk) as well. Where is Al Sharpton, Mike Baisdon and Jesse Jackson?

on a side note: Every one that does this to their cars(DONKS) are not drug dealers or gang bangers!!!

#1: If it passes state safety and emissions, where those things would come up as an issue and pass. The police need to stay the fuck out of their business. It may be "plain stupid" but it's not my business, your business, or the business of the police if everything is passed as "legal." Especially when they start talking about search and seizure. Under what pretense? Because someone has a larger profile wheel/tire radius. Get the fuck out.

#2: Just one question, Officer Tomasina, Why do you search the car in the first place if the wheels has nothing to do with search and seizure? I'm just saying.

#4 This some bullshit. There just trying to get rid of all the black people there. If its such a safety hazard and your only trying to protect the people, why charge so much money to get there car back that you illegally impounded. Show me on any driver license test that states these men cant have 20 inch rims on there cars.

#5: Lol , they had to put a black female officer to try to prove that they are not racist . Yes some rims are unsafe , like the swangers , but there is nothing wrong with the 22's . Its just a pretext to harrass the people who drive them and guess who's driving them ??? Those people really ought to get sued .

#6 And we as a country are worried about what's happening in Libya and other countries, when we have a war right here in America- what if the Libyan Leader decided to bomb cincinatti police department because people are against things they are doing- cause that is what we use as the reason to bomb these other countries!!!

#7: Its a hidden agenda, and in the interview the hidden agenda came out in “plain view”. “Yes we are going to search your car…your glove compartment”. Its all about illegal search, and they found away to get into your vehicle without you being around and comfortably search for what they really are out to get…INFO…DRUGS…GUNS…ANYTHING they can get to hang your black azz with…shyt even a ROPE. If you pay attention to government and law enforcement the real agenda always hide behind “SAFETY” and “PROTECTION”! a.k.a. “The Patriot ACT” Wake up people. You think “ticket cameras” on the stop lights only take your picture when you run a light or speed? Think again. I bet i can follow you all day and tell you where you been at an aproximate time without ever following you.

#8: You’re full of sh*t,they are targeting blacks because, if having those 20inche rims was so unsafe then.What about those whiteboys driving around with those monster type pickup trucks with those hugh wide tires and the truck setting 12 or 13ft in the air.Isn’t that unsafe to when you drive a vehicle that sets so high that you have to climb some stairs to get in and out of it.

What is a Donk anyway? From the Urban Dictionary
Donk is a slang term referring to a type of highly customized automobile, typically an inexpensive American-built sedan from the 1970s,1980s or 1990s. Donks originally grew out of the Dirty South hip hop subculture but the trend has spread across the United States. Vehicles customized in the donk style are distinguished by their outsized (even disproportionate) rims, ranging from 20" to 30" or more in diameter, as well as fanciful custom paint-jobs and expensive audio hardware. Suspension modifications similar to those employed on lifted pickup trucks are made to give adequate clearance for the large rims. Often the suspension is modified so the front end sits slightly higher than the rear end, giving the car a swaggering appearance. Because of the almost comically exaggerated look gained from installing a lifted suspension and enormous rims, donks are also known as "hi-risers" or "sky-scrapers."


Popular vehicles for these types of modifications are full-size Chevrolet, Ford and Chrysler models. Two of the most popular models to modify are the Chevrolet Impala and Chevrolet Monte Carlo. Many enthusiasts agree that the term "donk" was orginally shortened from "donkey," because the Chevolet Impala logo resembled one.
