#Atlanta 3/14: Word Is Born Open Mic @ The Apache Cafe
, Posted by CEO at 8:01 PM
I love ATL!
And one of the reasons I love ATL is because of how much the people and the World Famous Apache Cafe means to us. As an unproven, unmasked, spoken word artist coming from Philly, April 13th, 2008, was my first time performing in front of anyone besides family and friends. It goes without saying it was amazing, because the rest is history! From signing the open mic list, hoping to get on before the feature, to being in demand as a feature & hosting every 2nd Sunday, introducing YOU (the people) as my feature, I am in love with art!
We appreciate everyone that has ever supported us in any way, and we strive to continue to serve up DOPE show after show. Over 200 of you came out for the last 2nd Sunday...I dare you to top that!
