STOMP THE VIOLENCE 2011

The theme this year is “STOMP THE VIOLENCE!” We anticipate hundreds of attendees this year. This annual event features a traditional “stepping” competition by college sororities & fraternities as well as sponsor exhibits and awareness themes that promote the serious need for our communities to STOMP and cease the senseless violence that leaves victims and hurt all around us.

Each year, we pride ourselves in incorporating cause-related themes & messages that enhance the disposition of our community, especially the African American community. With that said, we'd really like to make a push to have a large segment of youth attendees from elementary school ages up to through college ages. Stepshows have significance in our community and it can be very encouraging for our youth to experience this cultural phenomenon.

In addition to Greek Sorority & Fraternity Step Teams, there will be several high school & college recruiters, job recruiters and other vendors on-site.
