About Second Chance (Volume 1)
Tionna Langston is a young woman who has been in love with the same man for most of her life. She met the man that she believes is her soul mate, Nickell Truman, when she was in middle school. The two of them became inseparable until they reached high school, which is when Nickell's family moved away. Years later Tionna has been in several bad relationships. Her current relationship with her boyfriend Drew is on the rocks because of his constant lies and cheating. She is finally fed up and ready to call it quits but not before she gets a little revenge. Tionna's friend Sam and her boyfriend James invites her to go with them back home to Savannah, GA where James is from to attend his cousin's Christmas party. She agrees to go and invites Tionna along for the trip. During this trip Tionna bumps into Nickell. Only problem is he is engaged but she finds out a secret that his fiancée has been keeping from him that could end their relationship. Her only dilemma now is whether she should tell him or not. Faced with this hard decision, what will she chose? If Nickell finds out the secret that his fiancée has been hiding will that be enough to make him leave her and give what he and Tionna had a Second Chance?

About the Author La'Tonya West
I was born on November 24, 1982 to Angela Branch and Paul Hill Jr. I was raised in Boykins, VA, which is a small town in Southampton County. I am the oldest child of both my mother and my father. I have three younger sisters. I am also a mother of three; I have two girls and a son. I just recently relocated from Virginia to Savannah, GA. I started writing when I eleven. Growing up I had a rather rough childhood and so writing became my escape. I would get a notebook and write different fiction stories and give them to my aunt to read. Throughout the years I continued to write stories and poems and it became not only an escape but it became something that I loved to do. At the end of 2008, I wrote my first book, Consequences, and self-published it. I am currently working on my second book and once I am done with that I will began working on a Part 2 to Consequences.
