#Indianapolis 10/16: Indianapolis Urban League presents... Invest in Yourself

On October 16, 2010, from 10am-2pm, the Indianapolis Urban League Young Professionals in partnership with the Young Adults of the Indianapolis NAACP will present a free event “Invest in Yourself” , a round table discussion. The event is part of the well established Money Smart Week sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. Registration begins at 9:30am this event is geared toward young adults 21-40.


Participants will choose four of several different table topics and attend a networking opportunity as well as lunch.

Protect What Matters: A discussion on understanding the importance of insurance, understanding the different types of insurance, and understanding what insurance you have.

Become a Homeowner: A discussion on the benefits and drawbacks to homeownership, lending criteria, and steps to the home buying process.
