Charity: Sensory Processing Disorder - Eagle/Jurecko Charity Organization

The Out-of-Sync Child: Recognizing and Coping with Sensory Processing Disorder, Revised EditionThis msg is from one of my very good friends and one of the best managers I have ever worked for- I had no idea until today what he and his family were going through- so I thought that I would put this out there to the network- so some of us that can, could donate to help fund their mission- if you can, please do so! but make sure you read their stories first!

My wife, Dawn, recently started a non-for-profit charity organization for Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD) with our friend Kelly Jurecko. Our 3yr old son Charlie has SPD, as does Kelly’s 4yr old son Riley. The latest research suggests that 1 in every 6 children experiences sensory symptoms that may be significant enough to affect aspects of everyday life functions.

Their mission is simple: To raise awareness about SPD, to fund the SPD Foundation, and to help provide families assistance that cannot afford therapy services.

It would mean a lot to us if you’d take a minute to review their website, read their stories (under “About Us”, if you’re so inclined), and make a Donation if you’re able to (they are a 501(c)(3) organization, and your donations are 100% tax deductible).
