#Boston 1/16: Collaborative Earthquake Relief Effort for Haiti @ Hibernian Hall
, Posted by CEO at 7:45 AM
Be a part of the collaborative for Haiti!
This coming Saturday, January 16, over 80 organizations are partnering to collect Non-Perishable Food, Clothing, and Monetary Donations to send to Haiti. When you attend this relief event, you can expect music & entertainment, refreshments, a discussion, and an opportunity to learn about the country that is going to receive your gifts.
Please spread the word. Suggested items to donate include water, blankets, tents, and any type of clothing. Monetary donations will be collected by Partners in Health and American Red Cross directly.
VOLUNTEERS:
If you are interested in volunteering, please see Rachel Hall when you arrive. We are in need of people to assist with set-up at 8am and clean-up at 6pm.
PERFORMERS:
All artists, musicians, poets, etc. who are interested in performing, please know that you will be donating your time. Please contact Elie at infwisdm@yahoo.com and carbon copy Nancy Rachel Rousseau at miss_rousseau@yahoo.com.
This relief effort will be successful because you decided to attend and make a donation.
On behalf of Haitians, Haitian-Americans, all of the collaborating organizations and sponsors, THANK YOU!
