"Christmas with the Kappas" Charity Event in Bloomington (Alpha Chapter)

“Christmas with the Kappas” has become an annual charity event that has created a social environment for the Bloomington Community while collecting proceeds to benefit disadvantaged families around the Christmas holiday. Christmas cheer will definitely be spread throughout the air as music is played, Christmas carols are sang, and dinner is served!!!!!!!!!!
This year, the men of Kappa Alpha Psi have decided to do things a little different. We have taken the initiative to adopt a specific disadvantaged family within the Bloomington community through Middle Way House. The family consists of a single parent mother (Juanita) and 8 month year old child (Ahmaz). By donating specific gifts from their wish lists, you can help make Christmas a GREAT experience for their family and one to remember!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Juanita’s Wish List:
*gift cards to Walmart or Krogers
Ahmaz’s Wish List:
*clothes (12-18 months/male)
*coat (18 months)
*diapers (size 4)
*baby wipes
*baby toys (boy)
Please come out and support!!! As you know, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. has partnered with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and has since become a major contributor. Therefore, we will be accepting donations throughout the evening in order to demonstrate our commitment to our partnership. We will also be collecting canned food goods to help other disadvantaged families within the Bloomington community. All donations will be contributed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and all canned goods will be donated to Hoosier Hills Food Bank.
