Update on where Black Folk Hot Spots is headed 11/31/2009

Thanks for stopping through http://blackfolkhotspots.com over the past year, it has truly been a great ride and we have some new and exciting things that we are planning on for next year. Most of you have every of Metro-Mix, but we will become the Metro-Mix for Black and African American Peeps from around the globe--- that is simply the type of person that I am. Stop by from time to time over the next couple of months, we are also working on setting a system where you can post your own events as well keep track of your registered party-event go'ers!!!

I would also like to give a small update... of things that we have done over the last years, we have added more events for more major cites in the US- in 2K10 we will be expanding into the other countries- just in case you travel out of the country, we will be expanding more into the western, eastern and southern states as most of the event listed now are in the midwest -Where we are from. If you would like to partner with us, we will be ready soon. We also added a Facebook Fan Page on 11/17/09 and hit 1000 Fans in less than 30 days on 12/14/09 and the 1500th Fan on 12/31/2209. Our goal is to hit 10K fans in the first quarter of 2K10 and with that- we are really going to need your help. We also added a few more sponsors and advertisers that help us to keep the cost down, be sure to take a look at some of the specials that offer. We also added Cheap oAir for those of you that like to travel and Ticketmaster so that you can purchase tickets to major events across the US and Canada.

As far as the visits to the site- we are more than happy with that- of course we can get better, we have had upward trending growth for the better part of 2009 with the only 2 months that didn't see growth of the previous months were September and October- of course that worried us a little bit, but November rebounded with growth higher than August and then finished out the year strong and beating the previous 2 months combined... How cool is that?
