   R Kelly New Year's Eve Bash was a scam. I was RIPPED-OFF on a whole notha level.
   TICKET WEB, charged me $425 for 2 - VIP ALL ACCESS tickets to the DEC 31st "Countdown with the King of R&B NYE 2010 Hosted by R. Kelly" at Adrianna's Club & Ballroom, 16300 S Dixie Hwy, Markham, IL 60426; HOWEVER, I was told I could not receive VIP ALL ACCESS at the venue (order # M7WKRKWRQ) None of us even saw R Kelly, we just saw an entourage rush upstairs into a room and close the door about 15 min before midnight and then see the same entourage bum rush the door leaving the club about 15min after midnight. I dont think R Kelly was even there. He didnt sing any songs for the club. They didnt even have a count down or champagne like the advertisement said.Parking was suppose to be free, but they charged us $20 just to park with NO VALET!! I was suppose to have a table, with my "VIP ALL ACCESS" but didnt get one at all. Drinks werent complimentary, all they had was free baked chicken, greens, and maccaroni. I should have taken my butt downtown to see a real entertainer give a New Year's Eve Party. How do you not perform at your own NYE party?

   At the event, the party organizers, promoters, security etc were absolutely no help and were completely dumbfounded by the mistake and could offer no explanation or solution -- all they did was give us the run-around. Initially, the organizers of the venue could not even find my name on the list to even attend the event at all! I was initially turned away even though I provided the requested credentials that the website said to bring (ID and the payment card used to make the purchase, along with the printout confirmation w/confirmation # from Ticket Web) – it took over 30 minutes just to get through WILL CALL -- AFTER my date and I had to stand in line TWICE. This was very embarrassing for me and my date.
   
   The website description said we would receive a “red carpet” entrance. Obviously, not the case for $425.
   
   As professionals who work in the community we expected a certain level of organization and service which was completely missing. I paid a total of $425 for two tickets, when I should have only been charged $275, I would like a refund of $150. We cannot patronize venues and services that are incapable of providing that minimum level of service and professionalism to us.
   
   The only reason I even bought tickets was to get VIP ALL ACCESS and all the items described on the website that came with this VIP ALL ACCESS, had I'd know this was not even available to me, I would never even have bothered buying tickets in the first place.
