With a mission to teach and inspire, Coleen’s multifaceted approach to life provides her with a wealth of expertise and experience she’s ready to share with the world.

Coleen is an Adult Nurse Practitioner with the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Virginia, with twelve years of experience in caring for the elderly and their families at long term care facilities in Richmond such as Beth Sholom and Lexington Court Nursing Homes.

Her goal for the elderly is to help others---families, doctors, nurses, aides, facilities, and organizations---provide the best possible care for this fragile and rapidly growing population.

Coleen is a professional speaker, and she teaches at the bedside and in the classroom as adjunct faculty for Virginia Commonwealth University’s Schools of Nursing and Medicine. She is also a newly-minted professional storyteller, a published writer, respected editor, avid reader, and a mountain-loving tree-hugging hiker.
