Life: Cultivate Relationships
From the Owner of The Black Business Social Network
Hello Current and Future BBS CommUNITY and BFHS Readers...
Take the time to check your people resources or "friends list". There are people around you who could help you grow in one or more of the areas you want to develop.
Try to cultivate relationships with them, but don't think only in terms of what you can gain. Always bring something to the table (besides an appetite and knife & fork). Find ways to serve others first.
Also keep in mind that networking is NOT just about YOUR "bizness" opportunity.
There are lots of people here who are more successful than you and have more money than you have, so don't miss the chance to connect with them by trying to be "clever" with your ad blasts and so-called messages telling them how "you can help them make a million dollars next week ... if they act now". It doesn't work and people can see your intent and selfish motives a mile away.
You have to make the relationships you establish win-win, or they won't last.
Have a great weekend!
Peace and Blessings,
Lee Green, Founder
