House on 23rd Street (Feature Film)
All projects are paid for speaking roles.
Feature Film will operate under a SAG ultra-low budget contract.
Non Union Actors are also accepted for each project.

Some roles require you to come with your own monologue. Which can be made up or found online. There will be some generic monologues at casting call.
Sounds of Poetry:
Abuse, Drugs, Molestation, and Neglect are the elements of her childhood. Monique watched as her mom destroyed her body with drugs. She defended her life from the predators that came in and out of her mothers home in Atlanta. The painful sounds she took in as a young girl were converted to beautiful sounds of poetry in her journal. The hurtful environment left her with no option but release emotions through poetry. With the constant disappointment of being rejected by the one person she cares the most about (her mother),
Monique finds comfort in her journal. Her journal becomes her best friend. With no one left in her corner at the tender age of 8, her journal becomes her best friend. She writes her innermost dark secrets, never to reveal them. Until the day she left her journal behind.
Finally getting the courage to know when enough was enough, running away from the abuse, drugs, molestation, and neglect. Monique left her only best friend (her journal).
Finally freed of the horrific life, she begins to blossom into a beautiful women under the loving care of her grandmother. She continues to fall in love with her one true friend, poetry. With time her wounds are healed until she runs into an unexpected visitor from the past. What will she do when the hurtful sounds of her past comes back to hunt her ?
Character Breakdowns:
Young Monique – African American 8 year old, that is exposed to all the wrong things at a very young age. She copes with pain by writing poetry in her journal. She is very strong for her young age and is practically raising her self.
Eleanor- African American, 30's, Monique's mother, she is a crack addict that does not take care of her daughter she only lives for her boyfriend and the drug he has introduced into her life.
Johnathan- African American, 30's, Eleanor's boyfriend, he is abusive to Eleanor, a crack fiend, and has molested Monique on many occasions. Crack Addict as well.
Grandma- 50 year old, Monique's Grandma (please prepare a 1 minute monologue of your choosing.)
The Zo Brothers:
The Zo Brothers is a television sitcom that will be shot in Atlanta starring the infamous Lorenzo and Alonzo Maddox.
The brothers stay getting into trouble. Lorenzo the older brother always finds himself getting him and his brother out of mischief. Alonzo, the younger brother always has a plan to solve whatever problem he is introduced to with his hilarious schemes which always results in trouble. The Zo Brothers will
start off as a web based sitcom that will be launching Spring 2010.
Character Breakdown:
Mary- African American Early 30's, mother of the Zo Brothers.
Melia- African American 16 year old sister of Zo Brothers
Jordan- African American 15 year old cousin of Zo Brothers
Braden- African American Early 30's, Father of Zo Brothers
Brittany- Late 20's, girlfriend of Braden
Recurring Roles:
Friends/Classmates of Zo Brothers- (Children from age 6 to 11 years old all races)
Uncle- African American late 20's, very comedic, babysitts the brothers from time to time.
Aunt- African American early 30's, big rapper/singer on the road all the time.
Stacey- 16yr old, best friend of Melia.
***All individuals wishing to audition for Zo Brothers must prepare a 1-2 minute comedic monologue that showcases your talent. Make it funny and have fun. You can even search the internet for funny monologues if you don't already have one. This ensures that we get to know who you are for other recurring roles on the show.****
House on 23rd Street :
When Dante gets home from his first year of college he encounters problems with is controlling parents. After getting caught in the act with a female friend, he gets kicked out. Ironically, when his great aunt dies she leaves him a house.
Dante now feels that he can now finally enjoy his summer with no restrictions. He makes big plans with his friends to move and create the ultimate bachelor pad.
There is one problem. This house has an angry occupant that refuses to leave. Dante and his friends fight for their life to get out of The House on 23rd Street.

*Jay- male 19, best friend of Dante
*John John- male, 19, caucasian, thinks that he's black
*Pee Wee- african american male, 21, Cousin of Dante, underachiever works at pizza palace Dante's go to guy.
*Laila- female 19, Dante's Ex girlfriend, very high mainetance, still loves Dante
*Toya- female 19, Laila's best friend and girlfriend of Jay for 6 years
*DJ Smash- male 20-25, DJ of house party
*Amber- female 19, caucasian, Dante's new girlfriend from college.
*Rachel- female 19, caucasian Amber best friend.
**Aunt Sarah- african american, 105 yrs old, actress will transformed to look
age.
**Young Aunt Sarah 16 year old
**Daddy Maddox- african american male, 40, first black doctor in Atlanta
**Mamma Maddox- african american female, 40
**Young Tommy- 19 year old, young version of the killer.
