EAST CHICAGO The Puerto Rican Parade and Cultural Organization of NWI
...is sponsoring the 28th annual Puerto Rican celebration two-day cultural festival on Saturday and Sunday July 25-26 at Tod Park in East Chicago.
The festival will feature the hottest bands from Chicago, a children's corner, Joe-Joe the clown, children's cultural performance groups, food and craft booths and a beer garden with live music.
Legendary artists performing on the main stage on Saturday will be the sonero Wichi Camacho and composer, singer and trumpet player Keyvon Vegaand Papo Cocote.
On Sunday, July 26 the annual Puerto Rican Parade will begin at 3703 Euclid Ave. and will travel eastbound on Broadway.
