Black Business Spotlight: The Fykes Foundation tackles Diabetes Head on

Greetings, I am Gordon S. Fykes Founder and President of The Fykes Foundation.
I encourage everyone that visits this site that if you know someone who has diabetes and is uninsured please let them know, we exist for them.
My staff that includes Carla Cannan, Executive Director, have a combined 20 plus years of diabetes industry experience that ranges from research and development to sales management to social service assistance. Our experience gives us an unbridled passion to help uninsured persons with diabetes and bring awareness to those that do not know the risk factors associated with the disease.

It is time that we take a stance and fight this disease. So the big question is how do we fight? We fight by urging our friends and loved ones to be tested for high blood sugar. We fight by learning both the symptoms and prevention measures of diabetes. We fight by educating ourselves about the menacing complications associated with diabetes. We fight by spreading the word that there is an organization able to provide assistance, The Fykes Foundation.
