-Chicago's First Annual P.romoters A.gainst V.iolence Charity Basketball Game. Due to the high crime rate afflicted through the Chicago Land Area, we are in desparate need of a solution, to an increasingly disregarded plight. This event was created to invoke unity and to begin to shed light in a positive spectrum towards violence in the night clubs and our neighborhoods. Serving as an example that there are other alternatives and/or facets other than taking the life of another.

We have involved several organizations, & charities that are dedicated in helping eliminating crimes throughout the city. This is history in the making and we are asking you to be a part of such an enjoyable yet meaningful event.

Again, the 1st Annual P.romoters A.gainst V.iolence Industry/Charity Basketball game will be held May 9th 2009 at Illinois Institute of Technology (I.I.T.) gymnasium from 1:45pm to 6:00pm. This is a big gym with NBA demensions. The Chicago Pro Am is held there every year. The event will be filmed LIVE!
