Managing Your Career in Turbulent Times
2009 PBAO Business and Leadership Summit
MANAGING YOUR CAREER IN TURBULENT TIMES
April 24th & 25th, Chicago, IL
The theme for this year's Summit is "Managing Your Career In Turbulent Times." The panelists, moderators, and speakers will be African American business executives with Purdue connections. In addition to our three distinguished keynotes, the summit features two highly informative panel discussions:
Making a Major Career Transition
At least once in a lifetime, we find ourselves contemplating a significant career transition. Even if you are not currently considering a change, you may find yourself - voluntarily or involuntarily - moving from the security of a comfortable work situation into uncharted professional territory. Come hear how our highly accomplished panelists navigated their own major career transitions and are currently pursuing their passions.
Successful Women in Leadership
“Skirts & Stilettos -The Real Deal about Women in Leadership." Come hear the personal stories of what really happens to women leaders in the workplace and how to succeed. And for the men - what women in the workplace wish you knew.
The opening reception on Friday, April 24, will be held on the Odyssey Cruise Line. The workshop on Saturday, April 25, will be held at the University of Chicago's Gleacher Center in downtown Chicago. The complete agenda is below.
