Remembering Coach Glenn Miller... from Roosevelt High School in Gary Indiana

Coach Mil was one of those guys that all people will remember FOREVER, Coach was one of those guys I wanted to be like... he was smooth, good conversation, always had you sitting on the edge of his seat, he did his job. He loved what he did and it showed... I had Coach Glenn Miller in the summer before my senior year cause I went to the career center and could only take 3 classes at Velt during junior and senior years... which I didn't want to do but I had to do... It's a good thing Coach Miller decided to work... cause it was a class I will never forget, not only did he make it fun and interesting but I actually learned something too... not just about the body and stuff, but about life.
He taught us about the body and std's, he told us a stories about life... one that remember vividly it went something like this... Make sure you marry someone that you really love, because if you get married just for sex it is not going to work... at least that is how sounded to me... he told this story.
Marbles in a Jar
If you put a marble in a jar for each time you have sex before marriage, it will
take you a lifetime to take them out each time you have sex after you are
married, you'll die first.... just kidding about the dying part but he probably
did say that in only a way that Coach Mil could.
Just knowing him from that summer was enough for a lifetime of memories that I will never forget, it simply completes that portion of my life's book.
I am sure other people have some similar stories about Coach Miller... Please share... maybe we can keep Coach Miller torch burning forever, for others to learn from too.
