Gary Roosevelt Marching Band at the 2007 Circle City Classic




Remember when the band use to rock it at the jamboree and half-time of the football games? I went to a couple football games this year and they could barely make a letter...did someone forget to tell the parents you can actually get band scholarships for college?

Help me get the message out...Colleges and Universities still give BAND SCHOLARSHIPS!

    Hello my name is Tywan Rosser class of "91". I seen alot and we had some great teachers and staff who cared. That school of all school have history and that history is part of my life. I plead with the school board not to touch that school and rip it from the roots where we had famous people to emerge from. The Dog, Mr. Avery Brooks who came to Velt back in 1989-90 school year. Mrs Robert Jones was my dad in heart. Please!!!! Don't touch the one thing that made Gary, IN known for and that's the fighting Panters.
