Gary Roosevelt High School IMPORTANT MEETING 3/6/08 for past and present students
There's a school closing forum at Roosevelt 3/6/08 at 5pm. We need to
get the word out for Roosevelt supporters to be in attendance.
Articles, letters, forms of written support need to be submitted to
the local papers, 411, Post, Times, regarding the historical virtues of
Roosevelt. Are you interested?
A forum has been held in the Wirt community and it has been said that
there was a lot of " Roosevelt bashing' going on.
Principal Wright wants a large contingent of supporters to attend the
Roosevelt meeting but does not want disparaging comments made toward
the other schools as was done at the Wirt community forum.
Please add that regardless of the outcome of the meeting, we should
begin moving forward in ensuring the preservation of the RHS building.
We don't want a repeat of Froebel.
